High Ropes Challenge Course Elements
Dangle Duo - Two people work together to climb a dangling ladder with steps five to seven feet apart. Have you ever had to rely on someone else to help you to reach your goals?
Incline Log – A log that is inclined to about a 30 degree angle looks easy to walk up, but when you are twenty feet above the ground with nothing to hang onto, it gets harder. Have you ever started something and found it harder than you thought?
The Raider Bridge – Although it looks like the rickety bridges in the movies, this one won’t collapse, but it will be a challenge. The boards of the bridge not only sway side to side, they also move along the wires. Has your life footing ever been unstable?
The Heebee Jeebee – On this element, you walk on a wire while holding on to two ropes that form an x in the middle of the wire. It looks easy, until you get to the middle of the x. Sometimes aren’t the most difficult times in the middle?
The Zip Line – A great way to get down. Your harness is hooked to a cable and off you go on a zip ride over 200 feet long to stop about 5 feet off the ground. It’s a wild ride, but just like many challenges, you have to take that first step.
Multi-vine – Walk on a wire while holding on to a series of ropes that dangle above your head. Can you reach the next rope without letting go of the one in your hand? How are some of life’s choices like this?
The Leap of Faith – Stand on the top of a 30 foot pole and jump for a trapeze bar that is a few feet away. Sounds easy, until you realize you have to jump and trust. Sometimes you have to risk not reaching your goal to succeed.
