Current Projects
The following are projects that need to be completed in 2012. If you or a group of individuals can partner with us to complete these projects, you will save Cross Trails Ministry the funds needed to hire someone to complete them. If you have a particular skill to offer, or are interested in doing something not listed, please contact our office. Please note: these lists are updated regularly, so check back for changes.
Projects at Camp Chrysalis
- Work on pathways in camp
- Seal decks on quad cabins
- Repair decks and railings on a-frames & stairs
- Sew new curtains for the cabins
- Recover seats and redo the wood finish on kitchen style chairs for the quadriplex cabins
- Do a make-over on the Hilltop cabin/spruce up outside
- Landscape with native plants near the new pathways
- Router new signs for cabins and paths
- Wire the gazebo for lighting
- Indoor and outdoor painting projects
- Build new picnic tables and benches and 4×4 tables
- Build wooden door sign holders
- Build drying tables for pottery and woodcarving
- Repaint trail signs on the bluff and repair
- Build a retaining wall for a-frames
- Add a climber’s area to the climbing tower
- Remove cedar trees
Projects at Ebert Ranch Camp
- Replace Main Site deck
- Remove dead trees and split firewood
- Remove cedar trees
- Repair the windmill
- Paint the fence on the old riding ring
- Build a shelter/storage pavilion at Out camp
- Create Frisbee golf course
- Create, paint and seal new signs for trails
